MaMa plays again. Daniel will join up with the team, pack the tour kit and get the EQ right for his music to play at the performance in Roskilde.

MaMa is a dance and physical theatre performance where the choreographers Kirstine Ilum and Marek Zawalski explore the nature of human relations.

Two neighbors, completely seperated but only by a thin wall tell their life stories simultaniously. They do not know eachother but they become aware of each others presence. This awareness make them include each other, as stereotypes, in their own life stories and the other person becomes the epitome of their dreams, fears and desires.

The wall in the performance illustrates the invisible frame that often controls our view of reality.

Are we marked by what other people think about us? And are others maked by how we percieve them?

More info at www.kirstineilum.com/mama

Choreography&Performance:
Kirstine Ilum & Marek Zawalski
Dramaturg:
Wojtek Klimczyk
Composer/Sound design:
Daniel Eriksson
Light design:
Loes Schakenbos
Set design:
Marek Zawalski
Graphic layout:
Daniel Eriksson
Somatic Noise is founded by Kirstine ilum, choreographer and performer, and Daniel Eriksson, actor and composer. They have been collaborating in producing many of ilums choreographic works.

From the base in Copenhagen (DK) and Malmoe (SE) Somatic Noise engages in international and interdisciplinary performing art projects. And focuses on collaborations and variety in constellations across borders.

With a base in contemporary dance and theatre combined with an interest in experimenting with extreme and risk taking physicality, we strive to continuously develop, and constantly search for new ways of expression. Therefore works varies from conceptual installations and dance films to theatre pieces with poetic moments to spectacular movement aesthetics.

www.somaticnoise.com
